MUNDANE MAKE-BELIEVE INITIATION
There is divine or transcendental consciousness, and there is mundane or ritual consciousness. Consciousness goes through divine initiation to attain transcendental capabilities. Ritual consciousness cannot attain divine consciousness.
People who seek power result to make-believe rituals and consumption of potions. This leads to ritual consciousness which essentially comprises of illusions. The candidate does not know this and confuses illusions for extrasensory perceptions mystical capabilities which can only be gotten through divine initiation.
Ritual consciousness is of this physical world exclusively. Its existence is limited to the world of flesh and blood, such that ritual consciousness ceases with the last breath, when death of the body sets in and rots away.
However, their "Grand Masters” may perform necromantic rituals on the corpse. This can yield a zombie that lives on after the death of the physical body. This is without consciousness. It is a phantom and an agent of the cult, lodge, shrine, etc.
We will not be going further on this topic. We include it here as a hint to guide the inexperienced who is questing for divine consciousness, not to fall victim of the gods and ancestors, their oracles and the priesthood.
